     An E-Course is a web-based program for Continuing Medical Education supported by the ISAPS Educational Foundation. During the event, attendees have access to cutting edge presentations and panels held by world-renowned speakers via the E-Course Browser. In order to make up for potential time differences or schedule clashes, all presentations are archived and made available 24 hours a day. Just click on the links to view a DEMO: E-Lecture and a DEMO: E-Panel. A Discussion Forum and a Multiple-Choice Questions Examination are also availiable to provide interaction to the e-learning process. High-tech web-based instant messaging (Chat) will allow you to see who else is online and to initiate live discussions with colleagues, whenever you wish to, whenever you wish.

     More and more, medical professionals are looking to save time and money by reducing travel commitments. With each E-Course, users have all the information they would collect from time-consuming instructional courses and conferences at the end of their fingertips. Each E-Course has the tremendous benefit that everyone who has an Internet connection can attend. Exchanging ideas, experience and know-how among medical professionals is no longer constrained by time or budget restrictions. E-Courses are not another option, but a new standard which will play a pivotal role in fostering global networks of medical expertise.

     Registration provides full access to the E-Course pages which include E-Lectures, E-Panels, Multiple Choice Self-Examinations, the Chat Room and Discussion Forum. These great tools enable you to have access to high quality information while interacting with other colleagues around the world. Certification is also provided to registered users that complete required credits.

     The Chat Room is our web-based instant messaging technology. It enables you to see other colleagues who are online and to start a conversation, as you would in a real-life conference. Our Chat is powered by cutting edge, web-based instant messaging technology. This means your conversations with colleagues is live and as if you were standing in front of them. Attendees may use this Chat throughout the year to keep in touch with worldwide colleagues.

     Each E-Lecture lasts for no more than 20-30 minutes.

     You can go to the Discussion Forum area and instantly post a New Discussion with your doubts or convictions. Every once in a while you may go back to see how the speaker answered and what other participants wrote regarding your thoughts. You may also post your own comments on other subjects already posted by other colleagues.

     You will see the speaker in a static photograph which will enable you to put a face to the screen explanations.

     Your login details are valid starting when you register and are valid until the next revision of each E-Course (usually 18 months).

     As an attendee, you have unlimited access to the E-Course presentation archive, including all presented learning tools. You may come back and revisit any E-Lecture as many times you wish.

     We regret that the E-Course runs over general issues and it makes it difficult to fit all topics into the program. We also make sure that we do not run out of material and create a long-term web course series which will seek to cover the broad scope of aesthetic plastic surgery.
